Peter Hurd's Sentinel Ranch is more than the home of artist Michael Hurd. It is the foundation of insperation to one of Americas most beloved family of artist's, Hurd-Wyeth. Adobe casitas that were once ranch hand's houses, have been completely refurbished maintaining much of the original feeling and charm as guest homes with modern conveniences, antiques, designer furnishings and art by the Hurd-Wyeth family. Curl up in front of a fireplace, entertain on the private patios. The Gallery is located on the southeast corner of the family polo field and features original works by Peter Hurd, Henriette Wyeth Hurd, Michael Hurd, Andrew Wyeth, N. C. Wyeth and Paul Horgan. Signed reproductions by these artists are also available. Guest Homes are situated beneath foothills near the orchards. The Hurd Ranch Guest Homes are available year round.
We have facilities to meet your needs for weddings, reunions, corporate meetings and retreats or just a gathering of friends and family. Our group of professionals can have your events catered, help organize activities, give you tips on attractions in Ruidoso and historic Lincoln or make reservations at nearby restaurants. Special events packets available upon request.
The office at the Gallery is equipped with a fax machine and all guest homes have phones so you're never out of touch with home or office...unless you want to be.
